Terms of Service

JamPia Co., Ltd.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between JamPia Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users in relation to the use of the Company’s HTML5-based mobile game services (the “Services”).

1 Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and users regarding the use of the Services provided by the Company.

2 Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendment of the Terms)

  • These Terms become effective when posted within the Services or on a page operated by the Company, or otherwise notified to users.
  • The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that such amendments do not violate applicable laws and regulations.
  • If the Company amends these Terms, it will provide prior notice by specifying the effective date and the reasons for the amendment.
  • If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, the user may stop using the Services and withdraw.

3 Article 3 (Matters Not Stipulated in These Terms)

Matters not stipulated in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations and the Company’s policies, including operating policies.

4 Article 4 (Definitions)

  • “Services” means the Company’s HTML5-based mobile games and all related services.
  • “User” means both members and non-members who use the Services under these Terms.
  • “Member” means a person who agrees to these Terms, creates an account, and continuously uses the Services.
  • “Non-member” means a person who uses the Services without signing up as a Member.
  • Other terms not defined herein shall follow applicable laws and regulations and the service notices/guidelines.

5 Article 5 (Provision of the Services)

The Company provides the following Services:

  • Game services and related content
  • Digital goods such as game items
  • Other services determined by the Company

The Company may add or change the content of the Services as necessary for operation.

6 Article 6 (Suspension of the Services)

The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Services in any of the following cases:

  • System inspection, replacement, or construction
  • Unavoidable reasons such as server failure or communication disruption
  • Force majeure events such as natural disasters or a national emergency

In such cases, the Company will provide prior notice; however, if urgent, notice may be provided after the fact.

7 Article 7 (Sign-Up and Account Management)

  • Users may sign up in accordance with the procedures provided by the Company.
  • Users are responsible for managing their account information and may not transfer or lend their account to any third party.
  • If a user becomes aware of account theft or a security breach, the user must notify the Company immediately.

8 Article 8 (Personal Information Protection)

The Company protects users’ personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and specifies matters regarding collection, use, provision, retention, and destruction of personal information in its Privacy Policy.

9 Article 9 (User Obligations)

Users must not engage in any of the following acts:

  • Stealing or misusing another person’s account or personal information
  • Hacking, exploiting bugs, or attempting abnormal access
  • Using illegal programs (macros, cheat programs, etc.)
  • Infringing intellectual property rights of others
  • Posting illegal, obscene, or excessively violent content
  • Interfering with the Company’s business or operation of the Services

If a user violates the above prohibitions, the Company may take necessary measures such as restricting use of the Services, suspending the account, and/or claiming damages.

10 Article 10 (Company Obligations)

  • The Company will make its best efforts to provide the Services in a stable manner.
  • The Company will handle user opinions or complaints promptly and sincerely.
  • The Company complies with applicable laws and regulations related to personal information protection.

11 Article 11 (Use of Game Items and Content)

  • In-game items are intangible content provided during the use of the Services and may be used in accordance with the Company’s policies.
  • The Company may freely change the performance of items/content and the method of provision.
  • Items that have already been used are non-refundable, except where a refund is required under applicable laws.

12 Article 12 (Payments and Refunds)

  • Payments for paid content are made through payment methods supported by the user’s device.
  • If a payment error occurs, the user may request a refund through the Company or the payment provider.
  • Due to the nature of digital content, used items are non-refundable.
  • Where a minor makes a payment without consent of a legal representative, such payment may be cancelled in accordance with applicable laws.

13 Article 13 (Advertisements)

The Company may display advertisements within the Services, and users agree to exposure to such advertisements.

14 Article 14 (Copyright and Intellectual Property)

  • Copyright and intellectual property rights in the content within the Services belong to the Company or the rightful owners.
  • Users may not use the content beyond the scope permitted by the Company or provide it to third parties.

15 Article 15 (Termination and Withdrawal)

  • Users may request withdrawal from the Services at any time, and upon withdrawal, accounts and owned items cannot be restored.
  • The Company may restrict a user’s use of the Services or terminate the agreement if the user violates these Terms or causes serious disruption to the operation of the Services.

16 Article 16 (Disclaimer)

  • The Company is not responsible for service interruptions caused by force majeure such as natural disasters, system failures, or communication outages.
  • The Company is not responsible for damages caused by the user’s fault.
  • The Company does not intervene in disputes between users and is not responsible for such disputes.

17 Article 17 (Damages)

If a user causes damage to the Company by violating these Terms, the user must compensate the Company for such damages.

18 Article 18 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution)

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
  • Disputes between the Company and users shall be resolved through the competent court or relevant authorities.

Addendum Addendum

These Terms shall take effect on 1th, January, 2025.
